Tiling Course Information
The Tiling Course from Yorkshire Plastering and Tiling Services will give
you a very good understanding of tiling techniques and give you the confidence
to start tiling upon completion of training.
With places limited to 6 students per tiling course and each having a full bathroom suite to work around we are confident you will successfully reach your objectives with ease.
The tiling course is run over four days, Monday to Thursday and costs £450.
Tiling Course Content
- Learn about the correct tools and their usage for any tiling job
- The correct technique for cutting a tile using hand and machine cutters
- Tiling and cutting around a plug socket
- Setting out using timber batons
- The difference between wall and floor adhesives
- Tiling around a full bathroom suite, walls and floors
- Tiling an external corner
- Professionally grout and polish tiles
- Professionally apply bathroom sealant

All tools are provided for the duration of the course. However if you have your own tools and would prefer to use them you are welcome to do so.
What you need to provide
All you need to provide is some Steel toe capped boots and work clothes. We also recommend you bring a packed lunch as our schools are on industrial sites.
